Everyday is new with a new lesson to learn....

If a task is assigned it is the key role of the assigner to follow up. If there are any hurdles in the task it should be clearly informed to the assignee. In this advanced age of fast technology now a days it is getting diluted some where or some how. When the assignee is very much dedicated it should be done properly to show due respect for the voluntary work accepted. Here is an example. I thought to share in my blog. There is a saying, 'those who work more get more work to do'.
Date was fixed for a task with a two weeks period.
The task done was handed over by the assignee on the date fixed.
Copies needed to circulate in the group.
Two more weeks left for the presentation.
Agreed to take enough copies in multi languages.
Also agreed to sit for a discussion before the final day.
No message was received till twelve days.
On the day before the programme, got a message to go with the favourite one or two.
Agreed to co operate but no reply.
In the event contacted the leader to know how and when to present.
Vague information, programme started , it is a group programme, it is a continuous one and in a break of the leading person, got suggestions to proceed. It was a pretty big gathering and there was no practice with any one in the group and because of lack of copies no one can join in. Asked the co operation of the adjacent person, who whole hearted accepted and supported. Done the whole presentation but with lack of practice it was not up to the mark and not to the satisfaction of the assignee who dedicated time and effort on the assignment to go along the group.
Here it was a clear lack of communication and don't care from the part of the assigner.
All days are different, some days will not work well and that is the beauty in life to learn new lessons.
Assignees should always take care to get a clear cut instructions.
If any lack found from the assigner be bold to with draw from the event or say 'no'. All are unique and be wise to do the best without hurting anyone.
