An arranged family party is a gathering of like people with their family invited by the host. The main interest behind a party is to socialize, converse, take part in some recreations such as singing and dancing along with the music and to have a delicious feast of food and drinks. If it is associated with a festival it is focused on traditions. If it is on special occasion of celebration the person, couple or the family is focused. Almost most of the parties are arranged in weekends for a stress free participation.In any form party is celebration is always entertaining. Yesterday we participated in great party that surprised a young beautiful lady by her husband along with the support of their family and friends. It was nicely organised to entertain all ages participated in the group. We had fun along with our friends till 12 in the midnight with a birthday blast.
I would like to recollect the surprise we gave to our mom on her 77th birthday. My mom's birthday is on May 7th. It was in 2011. She lives in a beautiful village with plenty of coconut trees, thick courtyards of tropical crops, paddy lands and river. In our village nobody can or will think of surprises. They are very open, kind at heart and also don't know to hide anything. Out of we four children three of us live away. We all planned to invite my mom's siblings and their family to make the function great with an idea of 'Surprise to Mom'. Altogether we expect only 50 members in the party and thought of catering. On the early morning my mom was taken to temple for an hour and by the time our nephews decorated the house. Back home she was surprised to see the decorations. Then from 9am onwards her siblings one by one joined us which made her day. By the time it was announced 'Mom, this a surprise to you, Happy birthday'. I still remember, she was so worried and asked us, 'it is noon, where is the food, we need to give them lunch'. Then we broke the surprise, traditional birthday feast will reach here at 12 noon. Then we saw her face was glowing with happiness and contentment. Thank God for the wonderful opportunity we got. My mom even she was a little frustrated with the situation in the start she got along and still cherishes the beautiful event of her birthday. Then all the years from 2012 to 2016 due to visit and support our kids living abroad we all children were not in India to celebrate such a surprise birthday of our mom. We are still waiting to get an opportunity to celebrate another birthday blast of our mom.
