2020 Onam is the first time in my life to celebrate at home. No visits, no travels, no outdoor activities. Being seniors it is against Covid 19 protocol.
We invited our neighbor young couple to have Onam sadya with us. They are also held up to visit their parents who are far north and south. So we were lucky to have them.

Red rice, Parippu curry, Sambar, Japan, pachadi, kichadi, avial, thoran, Koottukari, mezhukkupuratti, maranta, manga, inchi, sarkarapuratti, kaya varuthathu, pappadam, Banana, papadum, parippu and semiya payasam. Delicious, nutritious and healthy veggie dishes served on banana leaves.
